Sun 21 July 2019, telkomtelstra

Showcasing and demonstrating our market leading technologies, whilst building and maintaining strong executive relationships was the basis for telkomtelstra’s executive dinner at Salt Grill by Luke Mangan; a popular restaurant located in Altitude at Plaza Indonesia, held on February 17th.

Amongst 40+ guests attended this important event, including the telkomtelstra Executive Leadership Team, a number of senior Telkom Leaders including Siti Choiriana, EGM Division Enterprise Service (DES), Bagyo Nugroho, VP Enterprise Parenting Operations, as well as a number of GM and Account Managers. The event also hosted a number of customer executives from a wide range of industry segments, who were able to enjoy the great food and technology demonstrations as part of the overall customer experience. Guests also had the opportunity to network with other executives across several industries.

In addition to officially introducing Erik Meijer as the new President Director of telkomtelstra, there were live interactive demonstrations of telkomtelstra’s Cloud based SaaS solutions: Multi Channel Communication Platform (Whispir) and Digital Proximity (Mandoe Media). Prior to their arrival at the venue all attendees received a personalized welcome message via SMS which consisted of a welcome video by Luke Mangan, the owner of the restaurant and popular Australian celebrity chef.
After interacting with multiple forms of communication sent via email and SMS including messages, videos and surveys, using the Multi-Channel Communication platform, attendees were then able to see the analytic results of their responses and realise, in turn, what this could bring to their businesses.

The Digital Proximity Solution was used to provide a unique user experience where guests could interactively select and choose their preferred Food & Beverage menu from entree to dessert by using their mobile phones directly, through a Digital Proximity ‘instant app’ that appeared on their phones automatically when they connected to restaurant Wi-Fi. Later, they were also presented with data on how they interacted with the platform and again, a discussion on how they could use this information to benefit their own business.

The capabilities of both products were experienced by the attendees before, during and after the event. Both demonstrations showed the importance and benefit of having data analytics to support all customer engagements and the importance of being able to give customers insights that are relevant to them and their businesses.
